Luckyiam cancels, but show will go on

Ugh. This makes two Saturdays in a row we’ve had posts like this on Frequency.

Living Legend MC Luckyiam was scheduled to perform tonight at MadHappy Lounge in Bend, but won’t be able to make it. The opening acts will still perform, however. From the venue’s Facebook profile:

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT….. LUCKY IAM HAD A FAMILY EMERGENCY AND HAD TO CANCEL…. BUT THE SHOW MUST GO ON…. MESTIZO, CADALACK RON,ROLLIN ROCKERS IM TRUELY BUMMED BUT LETS ROCK IT OUT WITH THE REST OF THE TOUR!

Again, that’s Mestizo, Cadalack Ron and Rollin Rockers, 9:30 tonight at MadHappy Lounge (850 N.W. Brooks St., Bend). It’s free!

I love the Central Oregon music scene. You guys know I do.

But today, I’m driving over to Portland to see three great bands — Telekinesis! Superchunk!! Teenage Fanclub!!! — and I need to hit the road, so we’re gonna keep this short:
