Meir Kahane because I met him inperson when I was a student at Kingsborough College in Brooklyn New York. He saw that I was Mexican American and he should some surprising solidarity with our situation in the United States. He also was very unique in style when he spoke in public. I was very sad on the day a shooter made him a martry.

Ashley Parker Angel... O'Town... Yes. I owned their cd. He went to a high school in the same region as I did in California and he lost in a talent show that I helped put together... He sang some sappy country song. I think it is funny and ironic that they share a birthday. One is still playing decent sized venues and the other... well I haven't heard what Ashley is rocking these days. Eh. I would so much rather listen to Counting Crows than O'Town any day... I no longer have the O'Town Cd for the record....

I have to say Adam Duritz....BECAUSE, my co-worker is obsessed with him and literally walks around work caw-ing and flapping her arms like a crow and especially today since it was his birthday. We even ate doughnuts from Delish Donuts this morning in his honor (sort of). This co-worker has the fancy tickets to this show, but if I win I want to just spy on her obsessing and screaming, maybe crying(?) over Adam Duritz.

She took the rest of that week off too, just in case...♥

This has got to go to Edward Kelley. He may have lived in the 16th century, and he may have only lived 42 years, but in those 42 years he managed to convince everyone that they should give him large sums of money, multiple estates and name him a "Baron of the Kingdom" for almost no reason at all. He convinced his business partner that angels insisted they "share wives", he created an "angel language" and also pretended to be a savvy alchemist, allowing him access to endless gold and silver mines. All of this in order to earn some cash- except the sharing wives part, I'm pretty sure he was just straight baller on that one.

Chuck D is by far the coolest!! He is one of the most important figures in the history of hip-hop music. He is the founder and lead rapper for the hugely influential band Public Enemy, which created a powerful mix of politically charged lyrics and layered, aggressive sounds.

Always support your stance and beliefs as strong as possible. The defense of a people and culture is more necessary than ever. Chuck D did just this! Public Enemy is pretty much the Rolling stones of rap. Doesn't get much cooler than that!

Although Coolio is pretty darn cool, the coolest by far would have to be William Clark...the "Clark" of the Lewis & Clark Party, the most famous and recognizable names in US exploration who trekked through our fine state of Oregon looking for a trade route to Asia.

An interesting tidbit during this election year...during the expeditions second bitter winter they held a vote on whether to camp on the south side of the Columbia river. Because Sacagawea and Clark's slave York were both allowed to participate in the vote, it very well could have been the first time in American history where a woman and a slave were allowed to vote!

How's ya like them apples ;o) Three cheers for the coolest...William Clark!!!
