Tonight in Bend, GWAR is playing at Midtown Ballroom, and Talib Kweli is playing at Century Center. Both shows start at 8 p.m. (with a couple opening acts), and they’re two miles apart. I really want to figure out a plan that would allow me to see both headliners …

Talib vs Gwar?
For me it’s more like a statewide stand-off between Pretty Lights in Eugene, Panty Raid/Vibesquad/Emancipator in PDX, Sean Hayes/Jill & Lucius @ Poet House, the classic bloodiness of Gwar and of course the illustrious Talib Kweli. So much good stuff going on tonight. This does present a problem.
My plan is to procure a teleporter or similar device, as well as infinite amounts of disposable income… We’ll see how the evening presents itself. I hear Pretty Lights tickets are being hawked for $200 on the street. What a deal.
my thought is the gwar show is going to start way later than the talib show so i would go over to that show and just have someone txt you about 10 minutes out from gwar starting.. which i can do if you like, since you so graciously provided my tix. i dont plan to miss the opening bands so i will be at midtown all night.
