You may know him as KG, Jack Black’s comic foil in Tenacious D, but did you know Kyle Gass has another band, too? I didn’t. But he does, and it’s called Trainwreck. Like the D, Trainwreck is a bombastic mix of rock and comedy, or as Gass calls it, “a cornucopia of rock and a 5-headed hydra of pleasure.”

Trainwreck is touring the west right now and will stop at Mountain’s Edge on Bend’s south side on May 28. For those keeping score, that’s the same night that the Goo Goo Dolls are at Les Schwab Amphitheater, which makes for this funny little juxtaposition on the tour-date site Pollstar:
