Fred Eaglesmith to play Sisters house concert

Fred EaglesmithI think this is a pretty good score for the Harmony House Concert Series.

Canadian singer-songwriter Fred Eaglesmith will perform at the Harmony House (or rather, a house near Sisters hosting the show since the original Harmony House burned down earlier this year) on May 25, according to a press release that just showed up in the inbox.

Eaglesmith is a veteran roots-rocker who’s almost as well-known for his between-song storytelling as he is for his music. Almost. Considering that his 2008 album “Tinderbox” was just nominated for a Juno Award (aka Canadian Grammy), it seems his songs are still turning heads, too.

Listen to Fred here or here. We’ll have more details on tickets and show time (it’s an afternoon show!) in the May 22 GO! Magazine, or call 541-548-2209 for more info. Remember, it’s a house show, so it’s safe to say seating will be limited.
